A female staffer at a New York emergency room is being accused of illegally accessing Justin Bieber’s medical file after Bieber was admitted to the hospital for an injury related to his testicles.
Yes, really.
TMZ originally reported that Bieber visited Northwell Health in Long Island in May, fearing he had twisted a testicle playing soccer. Now, New York employment attorney David H. Rosenberg tells Billboard that his client Kelly Lombardo, a former staffer at Northwell, was fired over accusations that she illegally accessed Bieber’s medical file during the May 18, 2017 visit.
“My client never accessed Mr. Bieber’s medical file. She was falsely accused of doing it because of her gender,” Rosenberg tells Billboard. “We look forward to vigorously prosecuting these claims at the New York Division of Human Rights.”
