Fine Gael will carry out a review of issues around Maria Bailey’s personal-injury claim, which the TD has now dropped.
Maria Bailey discussed the matter with the Taoiseach yesterday afternoon and the party confirmed last night that a full review will now take place.
Fine Gael’s review into the circumstances of Maria Bailey’s now cancelled injury claim will be undertaken by senior counsel, David Kennedy.
The party expects the review to be complete before the end of next week.
