Grief is something that none of us are prepared for. When we lose someone it feels as though part of our body goes as well. For instance when you go through a divorce you experience many losses; loss of a life time partner, a friend, lover and family unit. That is a general view but when you examine more closely you might notice that it appears the emotional support seems to go as well. The loss of significance, motivation and purpose for the future is also affected. However you can get through this by allowing yourself to feel what you feel. There is a process that takes place so give yourself a chance to go through it. Know that you will get beyond this and you will be stronger for the experience. I know that it can be difficult to believe. You can begin by allowing the notion of trust and belief in. Tell yourself that everyday you are moving forward and toward a better life.
