Tulisa has finally won a bitter, five-year court battle after she first claimed she co-wrote and featured on Britney Spears and Will.I.Am’s song Scream and Shout.
The song was released in 2012 and topped the UK charts – giving Brit her first number 1 in over a decade – but Tulisa long maintained she co-wrote the hit before the Black Eyed Peas rapper took over and released it for himself and Britney.
Former N-Dubz singer Tulisa wrote the track with Will’s producers back in the day as it was reportedly set to appear on her album The Female Boss under the title I Don’t Give A F***. However it was then said the song was ditched for Tulisa after Will’s producers didn’t like her version, releasing with the writing credits featuring will.i.am, Jef Martens and Jean Baptiste.
