U2 front man Bono has admitted he is still struggling to play the guitar five months after a horrific cycling accident. The 54-year-old crooner broke his arm in six places as well as fracturing his eye socket, shoulder, elbow and hand.Despite surgery and intensive physio the rocker is still struggling with his arm.

“It feels like I have somebody else’s hand. I can’t bend these [fingers], and this is like rigor mortis.

“But they say that nerves heal about a millimeter a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it’s coming back,” he said.

Although having issues with his injury, the Dublin singer is heading on the Innocence and Experience tour with his band at the end of the month in Canada who have been hugely supportive.
